Environmental coordination & reporting

A building site brings a lot of environmental legislation together: soil, waste, water and nuisance for the neighbours. Boengi helps you coordinate and report everything correctly. So your site stays compliant and you avoid fines or delays.

Building site with earthworks, where environmental rules are followed up
What is it?

What is environmental coordination?

Environmental coordination means that one party monitors whether the site complies with the environmental rules. We follow up the obligations, liaise with contractors and keep the documents up to date.

With the reporting, you show the client and the authorities that everything was done by the rules.

Together with safety

Combine environmental coordination with our safety coordination. Then you have one point of contact for the whole site.

Which rules apply depends on the region and the project. (to be confirmed)

What we watch

Which environmental topics do we follow up?

  • Soil management (grondverzet): having excavated soil properly tested, transported and reused.
  • Waste: separating, removing and keeping proof.
  • Dewatering (bemaling): pumping and discharging groundwater under the permit conditions.
  • Nuisance: limiting dust, noise and vibrations for the surroundings.
  • Reporting to the client and the authorities.

Examples for Flanders (including the rules on soil management). (to be confirmed)

Our approach

From permit to final report.

  1. Inventory

We map out the environmental obligations of your project, together with the permits.

  2. Follow-up

During the works, we carry out checks on site and liaise with the contractors.

  3. Report

We bundle all documents and provide you with a clear environmental report.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about environmental coordination.

Not always as a separate role, but the environmental rules themselves are mandatory. That is why many clients give the coordination to one party. (to be confirmed)

Yes. That is often the most efficient approach: one party that follows up the whole site.

Mainly utility and civil works, where soil and water play a big role. Tell us about your project, and we will see if it is a good fit.

Is the environment in order on your site?

Tell us about your project. We respond within one working day.
