When is an asbestos certificate mandatory?
To sell a building constructed before 2001, you as the owner must be able to present a valid asbestos certificate. The certificate describes which asbestos-containing materials are present and how to manage them.

You pay a fixed, all-in price, from € 329 incl. VAT and the OVAM fee. Up to 8 samples with lab analysis are included in the price. The price depends on the type of property (e.g. apartment, terraced house, villa). At the top of this page you can see your exact price right away.
For buildings from before 2001, an asbestos certificate is in principle mandatory when you sell. Send us your address and year of construction and we'll confirm it. (conditions to be confirmed based on current regulations)
Up to 8 samples with lab analysis are included in the price as standard. That covers the vast majority of homes, so our expert can take every sample that is needed. If, exceptionally, more are needed, we charge € 25 per extra sample (incl. VAT). Your invoice shows how many samples were taken and why. For the common parts of a co-ownership building, all samples are included.
